Re-opening Spring   2008, club 7969 will open its doors at a landmark venue in the City of West Hollywood that has been operating for over 40 consecutive years as, "Pink Pussycat", "Grandville", "Peanuts" and now under new management as "Club 7969".   The new owners are Art and Allan Davis.   The Davis's have successfully owned and operated over 20 restaurants and nightclubs, becoming the masterminds behind Los Angeles nightlife's most popular venues in the last few years.   It is impossible to talk about LA's recent nightlife scene without mentioning Messrs. Davis's legendary venues, such as "The Gate", "The Lounge", "Sunset Chi", "Club A.D." among many others. With the innovative master minds behind the operation, the new 7969 will be unparallel to the old.

At 7969, patrons will step through the imposing arched entrance into an other world of Byzantine, Renaissance, and French modern styles.

This site will become a favorite amongst the entertainment industry for celebrations and location shoots.   From the outside, patrons will be transfixed by this remarkable structure. Velveteen draped partitions, and renaissance chandeliers will greet visitors with incomparable elegance.   A baroque chandelier will illuminate the entrance from an inset dome which is glazed in gold leaf.   Further inside, the original art, antiques, and intimate seating areas evoke images of a European mansion.   French doors will lead to a secluded VIP area where bottle service will offer an extensive selection of fine spirits and beverages, the area will be enclosed by wrought-iron grill work. Patrons will travel through rooms of various sizes, all of which lead to a disco surrounded by three complete bars, perched slightly above the dance floor is a lush lounge, or gallery room, which has it own entrance, bar, estate hearth, and a supreme V.I.P bottle service area.   Velvet curtains will separate rooms, and elaborately stocked libraries.   The acoustics and disco lighting will be state-of-the-art.

Curved wrought-iron grillwork will subtly separate the dance floor from the adjoining lounge and bar areas.   The diverse layout is designed to unfold as the evening develops. Although the bars, lounges, and discos will be separated into sections by visual cues and textural changes, all will be open to encourage the see-and-be-seen interaction.   Cozy club chairs will be arranged in small seating clusters to afford private spaces for intimate conversations.    The luxe décor and inviting details of this venue will suggest a private mansion.
